Abstract
ABSTRACT :
Aortopulmonary window is an uncommon congenital heart defect. It is usually nonrestrictive and conventionally treated surgically at an early age to prevent the development of pulmonary vascular obstructive disease .
Only in 10% of the cases it is restrictive and case reports of it is transcatheter closure are mostly limited to these patients.
We report transcatheter closure of large non restrictive aortopulmonary window in a 2 years old , 8 kg child. Using Amplatzer duct occluder device.
